Rohia is a village which belongs to the Târgu Lăpuş town and is located in Lăpuş Land, an important ethnographic zone of Maramureş County. Maria Guesthouse from Rohia is situated in a quiet area with a beautiful landscape. The accommodation in the guesthouse can be made in rooms with 2 or 3 beds, the guesthouse is 3 flowers certified. Each room is well prepared for tourists with all you need: bathroom, tv, phone, free wireless internet. The guesthouse has 22 places for accommodation. We can offer traditional food using local recipes and we have fresh foods from organic farms from the area. Those who arrive in the Land ofLapuş can visit the famous Monastery of St. Anne from Rohia and other tourist attractions such as: wooden churches, Lăpuş River Gorge, folk artists or can go trekking in the mountain area.

Description of the guesthouse:
A traditional wood house (2 flowers omologated), completely renovated, located in Zăvoi (The Wild Park), at the confluency of the Mara and Iza rivers. The interior design elements recreate the ambiance of a authentic Maramureş house: carpets, household appliances, pottery. Glass icons have their privileged place and they are painted by the host himself. The traditionally Maramureş style wooden-built house has almost a century of existance. By renovating it and by using the cockloft space, it became a house for dinstinguished guests. On the ground floor we enter the livingroom, having a fire place and being traditionally decorated for rest and serving lunch, a fully equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom. Our pension offers 8 boarding beds in the cockloft, distributed in 4 rooms each having 2 beds, along with two modern bathrooms. In the same style (traditional woodhouse) we can offer accommodation in another 2 houses: „Grandfather’s House” and „Borlean Rustic House” - 2 flowers omologated. Meals and catering: traditionally cooked meals, following local recepies.
